OVERVIEW

This is not a traditional camp.

Poppy Street’s Summer Culinary Atelier is a small-group, chef-led experience where children step into the role of chef, baker, and host—learning through hands-on production, teamwork, and real hospitality.

Each week builds toward a culminating live service, where caregivers are welcomed as guests for a thoughtfully prepared meal.

Restaurant Morning  — From Kitchen to Dining Room

Participants learn how to run a restaurant—from menu creation through a family-style meal.

Campers will:

  • Prepare seasonal menu items
  • Learn kitchen organization and teamwork
  • Practice plating and presentation
  • Step into front-of-house roles and host guests
