We believe the table is one of life's most powerful classrooms, and hospitality is one of the world's most underrated leadership skills.

At Poppy Street, our mission is to cultivate leadership, entrepreneurship, and practical life skills through hospitality. We create thoughtfully designed experiences that inspire creativity, confidence, curiosity, and meaningful connection around food, hospitality, and community.

Growing Together

Poppy Street began as a neighborhood pizza pop-up next door to Five Crowns and SideDoor in Corona del Mar and has grown into a hospitality company creating meaningful experiences for children, families, and our community.

Today, Poppy Street includes Poppy Street Prep™, our youth hospitality education programs; a microbakery featuring seasonal baked goods; private pizza and wine experiences; and a growing collection of workshops, camps, and community events—all inspired by seasonal ingredients, thoughtful hospitality, and the simple joy of gathering around the table.

As we continue to grow, we're building partnerships with schools, PTAs, scout troops, youth sports organizations, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations throughout Orange County.

Meet Our Founder

Nicole Wilson is a UC Berkeley graduate, a Michelin three-star–trained pastry chef, and a WSET Level 3 Sommelier candidate.

Before founding Poppy Street, Nicole spent more than twenty years as an investment banker, investor, and family office advisor, helping build and scale private equity-backed real estate, hospitality, and restaurant businesses.

Today, as a parent of two, she brings that same entrepreneurial perspective to designing experiences that inspire the next generation of makers, hosts, and leaders.
