Poppy Street Brunch Bunch is a 3-hour farmers market and studio workshop for independent, school-aged children ages 7–12.

Each session begins with a guided visit to the Corona del Mar Farmers Market, where students explore seasonal ingredients, meet local farmers and artisans, and gather inspiration from the same monthly themes featured in our Farmers Market Tour + Picnic program. We then return to the Poppy Street studio for a hands-on culinary project inspired by what we discovered at the market.

Students build confidence, creativity, teamwork, kitchen organization, and hospitality skills through thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate activities.

For safety, children do not use knives or ovens. Recipes are pre-prepped and pre-portioned so students can focus on the baking process, creativity, collaboration, and presentation.

This program includes walking through a public farmers market and supervised street crossings. All activities are led by trained instructors, with at least one CPR & First Aid–certified instructor present.

The studio is not allergen-free, but many dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.

We use the same high-quality ingredients featured in our micro-bakery and pizza pop-ups, including organic produce when available, extra virgin olive oil, French butter, whole ingredients, and no seed oils.

Please note: Subscriptions require 30 days’ notice to cancel or modify. Missed sessions are non-refundable but may be transferred to another child with advance notice and space permitting.

Cancellations & Changes

Due to advance planning, staffing, and ingredient sourcing, all workshops are non-refundable.

Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance may be transferred one time to a future workshop, based on availability.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop are not eligible for transfer or credit.

No-shows forfeit the workshop.

If Poppy Street must cancel a workshop due to weather or another unexpected issue, families will receive a full refund or reschedule credit.
