3 hours | Ages 7-12
This is a 3-hour, extended off-site and studio combo program for independent, school-aged children ages 7-12 years. Led by two adult instructors (6:1 ratio), children explore the Corona del Mar Farmers Market inspired by the same monthly themes taught in our Farmers Market Tour & Picnics and then return to our private studio to apply what they have taken in at the market.
Participants will learn about geography, climate, agriculture, and seasonality and shop for a curated picnic menu, manage their own market bag and journal, and independently purchase at least one item. After the market, we walk across PCH to a private CDM studio for picnic setup and light baking at an OCHCA-registered home kitchen.
